About Me

Chris was born in the year Return of the Jedi was released. Both he and his siblings had an idyllic life growing up on Lake Erie in Northcentral Ohio. Ask anyone who lives thereabouts what living near the lake is comparable to. They’ll tell you it is like having a personal stake in part of the lake to yourself.

Faith and family are very important to Chris. As a cradle Catholic, he joined the local Knights of Columbus council in 2012 and is still an active member. He is also “funcle” to his brother’s and sister’s families, fiercely proud of the people his nieces and nephews are becoming and of the quality upbringing his brother and sister are giving them. While he harbors dreams of marriage and family, he is letting God lead him and is pursuing his personal interests.

My Journey

Chris began writing in earnest in middle school. He made the transition quickly from sequels of his favorite movies and franchises to his own creations. When he left for college, he intended to be an author.

In 2016, he made the expert decision to join a local writing group that a friend led that met nearby. Ten years later, he is now the administrator of said group, with a master’s degree in creative writing from Tiffin University. Chris writes primarily historical fiction, but he doesn’t like to pigeonhole himself too much into any one category. He constantly finds inspiration throughout his life. His favorite authors belong to the American renaissance in literature, dark romanticism, and the lost generation.

My Works

Chris has had the short story “Steal Away” included in the anthology titled Notorious published by Duskbound Books. He is in the process of self-publishing his first novel, Testaments of Devotion. Sure to follow will be his second installment in the two-book series titled Wrongs Redressed.
